Our Story

"A ministry born from healing, restoration, and encounter with God."

Reverend Kelleigh W.Hudson

THE HEART OF LIFE ESSENCE

Life Essence Ministries was founded by Rev Kelleigh in 2017, born out of a deeply personal journey of healing, restoration, and rediscovering the hope found in Christ.

Following experiences of trauma, loss, and brokenness, Rev Kelleigh began seeking God wholeheartedly for healing and transformation. It was during this season that Life Essence was conceived, not simply as an organisation, but as a place of honest reflection, prayer, restoration, and hope.

"You are the God who sees me."
Genesis 16:13

MINISTRY TODAY

Life Essence began through a heart for women's healing and restoration and has grown into a wider Christ-centred ministry and philosophy of healing, integration, spiritual formation, and wholeness.

Today, Life Essence Ministries expresses this heart through:

• Prayer ministry and spiritual encouragement.

• Teaching, preaching, and biblical reflection.

• The Deep Work resources exploring healing, identity, boundaries, and spiritual formation.

• Creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, and invited into deeper relationship with Christ.

COMMUNITY AND SERVICE

Alongside Life Essence Ministries, Rev Kelleigh serves within her local church, the wider Christian community, and prison chaplaincy supporting women age 18-25 years.

Her ministry is shaped by theological study, child development and education, social work studies, and professional experience across social care, children’s services, the charity sector, church ministry, and prison ministry.

Over the years, she has walked alongside people through faith, trauma, abuse recovery, housing support, pastoral care, prison chaplaincy, and spiritual formation.

She remains committed to serving with humility, accountability, and compassion.

OUR HOPE

Whether through prayer, teaching, books, podcasts, prison ministry, supported housing or everyday conversations, the heart remains the same:

Creating spaces where people encounter hope, healing, and the love of Christ.

"I thought God was changing me into somebody else.
Instead, He was gathering me back together."

Colossians 1:17
"In Him all things hold together."
