As I have continued sitting with Esther's story, I have found myself returning to one of the Bible's most familiar verses. Yet the more I have reflected on Mordecai's words, the more I have realised that "for such a time as this" is not simply about discovering our purpose. It is about recognising God's greater story, trusting His faithfulness, and responding to His invitation to participate in what He is already doing.

There are moments in life when the quiet seasons give way to a decision that cannot be avoided. In this reflection on Esther 4, we consider how God prepares His people long before the defining moment arrives, and how courage is often found in faithful obedience rather than the absence of fear.
